The face of warfare continues to change as today's militaries are tasked with addressing complex conflicts around the globe. No single military can meet these new challenges without the assistance of multi-national coalitions and a collective global effort. Technology is the enabling platform that fuels collaboration and drives network centric operations. As importantly, cooperative strategies that strengthen international cooperation and encourage information sharing are essential to countering terrorism and protecting nations.

The 2008 forum explored programs, policies, and innovative technologies driving interoperability across a spectrum of services in both US and foreign militaries and government agencies. Multi-national operations were highlighted with an emphasis on commitment, engagement and interoperability and its importance in coalition operations.

This was the 7th Annual Forum developed and presented by The Catevo Group in partnership with the Defense Attachés Association (DAA) of Washington, DC. The DAA is comprised of nearly 100 nations with flag officers and senior officials accredited to DoD. Major General Tom Knutsen, Norwegian Defense Attaché and Dean of the Defense Attachés Corps, served as the 2008 Chairman.
